Chicago is "in the house" with Vlokken! Aiming at establishing themselves as core artists on Trapez ltd, this EP rocks hard.
The opening track "Modular" sounds like a modern version of a top Dance Mania track. It is pure mayhem and full of adrenaline.
The remix by D-Deck of "Modular" gives it a slightly more epic dimension without relinquishing the heaviness of the original.
"Sub Hasta" builds climaxes as if it was the most natural thing to do in the world... it rocks and rocks and rocks. And when you think all has been said, then Vlokken come up with another dirty analogue sequence.
"Sublime" acts as it says and opens up according to it, but it would not be a Vlokken track if the suspense was left out of the game… so also this track is strong mover for the dancing people.
Mr. Bizz add some nasty attacks to the kick drums and some gritty sounds in their interpretation of "Sublime". It turns out to be a darker version with a lot of feeling of when and how to pull the right strings to create another nice build up!
